Drag, drop, draw!

The interface of Impossible Date is super easy to use, even if you’re not the sharpest tool in the shed (no offense, of course). You’ve got a bunch of basic tools at the top of the screen, and you can use them to solve all sorts of relationship puzzles.

First up, you’ve got the trusty hand tool. This little guy lets you drag and drop all sorts of things onto your characters or into various objects and places. You might have to drag a key to unlock a door, or drop a piece of candy into someone’s mouth to sweeten them up. You can even drag characters themselves around the screen to get them into the right position.

Then you’ve got the eraser tool. This bad boy lets you erase parts of your characters’ clothing (you bastard, there is a lipstick print under your scarf!), or anything that bothers them (no more hair on those legs!), or anything else getting in their way (like that laptop charger to finally get your boyfriend off the screen). Really anything!

Nothing impossible on a date!

Next up is the pen tool. With this one, you can draw missing item parts or make modifications to the scene. You might have to draw a missing bridge to get two characters to meet in the middle, or whip up a new hat for someone who’s feeling a bit down. You can even use the pen to write messages on signs or draw silly pictures on walls.

Last but not least, you’ve got the magnifying glass tool. This gizmo lets you scan the scene for tiny nuances that might help you solve the puzzle. Maybe there’s a hidden keyhole somewhere that you need to find, or a tiny clue written on a piece of paper. Use the magnifying glass to zoom in and really get a close look at everything.

With an arsenal like this, Impossible Date doesn’t seem so impossible anymore! Use your tools wisely and you’ll be able to crack all sorts of wild relationship puzzles. No matter how tricky or confusing they might look, there’s always a solution to be found!
